Vancouver Association for Survivors of Torture (VAST)
Trauma-focused psychological support for refugees in one-on-one and group settings. Services provided in over a dozen languages.
Residential Historical Abuse Program (RHAP)
Free counselling for those who were sexually abused while under the care of the province (foster care, group homes, etc.)
Crime Victims Assistance Program – VictimLink BC
Funded counselling for victims of crime, their immediate family members and witnesses. Contact for eligibility. (Police file # not required for sexual abuse victims)
Multicultural Victim Services – MOSAIC BC
Emotional support, information about your rights, and referrals for those living in Vancouver and Burnaby. You do not need to report a crime to the police to receive help. This program serves the specific needs of multicultural and immigrant peoples.
