Foundry BC
Free support, information, and tools to support people ages 12-24 across BC, both online and in-person. Services include drop-in counselling, work & education programs, phone & online chat support, peer support, sexual health resources, and violence & abuse resources.

Broadway Youth Resource Centre
Offers counselling and support services in the areas of youth (13-24) and family, anger management, and sexual orientation/gender identity issues. Counselling provided by supervised interns completing their Master’s of Counselling Degree. Free.

The Pacific Community Resources Society (PCRS) website has info on “youth hubs” in Vancouver and Surrey as well as support with education, employment, housing, substance use, and family.

Neighbourhood Houses of BC
Many Metro Vancouver neighbourhood houses offer support for youth, including counselling, homework support, career & training programs, and referrals to other services. The link above has a list of neighbourhood houses; contact the one in your area to enquire about availability.

STEPS Youth Program (North & West Vancouver)
Steps is a free, low-barrier recreational group that emphasizes social engagement and support through nature-based activities for North Shore youth (ages 13-29)  facing mild to moderate mental health challenges.

Youth Excelling and Attaining Housing (YEAH)
18-month housing subsidy program intended to support youth who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, are in financial need, and feel ready, with support, to live independently.

Y Mind – YMCA
Free evidence-based program for youth 13+ and adults to learn stress and anxiety management based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness. No YMCA membership or diagnosis required to self-refer.

Expect Respect & A Safe Education (ERASE)
Support for students, adults, and schools staff on diversity and inclusion, mental health and substance use, school and online safety, and the anonymous Report It tool.
